Verified Professional is a designation that shows a doctor has had their education, training, certifications, accreditations, and insurance reviewed and verified as accurate. This designation is another way the Cosmepedia community helps protect you and give you a good experience. If a doctor you are considering has the Verified Professional badge on their profile, website, or other materials, it provides a greater degree of comfort knowing they do actually have the training listed in their Cosmepedia profile, as well as up to date liability insurance. Only doctors that show the approved Cosmepedia Verified Professional logo above are Verified Professionals.
Doctors submit an application outlining their training and qualifications as well as photocopies of their driver’s license, degrees, certifications, insurance confirmation letters, all applicable licenses and one before and after picture for each type of procedure they offer. The application authorizes Cosmepedia International Inc. to conduct research to verify the doctor’s submitted records. All will be carefully reviewed. If the review is satisfactory, Verified Professional status is awarded.
Applications are denied if research reveals that the applicant has provided fraudulent information, or lacks necessary training and qualifications for the procedures they are performing based on national industry association standards. Grounds for denial will be stated in writing to the applicant, at which point the applicant will have a period of 60 days to submit an appeal stating their reasons for requesting the decision be overturned. If the appeal is denied there is a 5-year waiting period before reapplication will be considered. If a Cosmepedia member is denied Verified Professional status, their membership may be revoked without refund at the discretion of Cosmepedia International Inc.
