Dr. Summer Lerch was awarded the Team Dentistry award upon completion of dental school and then went on to attain her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1988. In 1989, after joining the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), she fell in love with cosmetic dentistry and the impact it had on people's lives. She then renamed her practice "Center for Esthetic Dentistry, LLC" and has been giving people beautiful smiles ever since. She also is a past Board Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), past President/ Board Member of the New England Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, former Editor of the AACD Journal and currently is an AACD member, and Examiner for their Cosmetic Dentistry Accreditation process, ADA and CSDA and Pierre Fouchard Academy member. Dr. Lerch has preformed over 1000 cases in her capacity as the best cosmetic dentist in New England. She also has been voted "Best Dentist for New Haven County" by the New Haven Advocate readership 14 years in a row
