I've been careful about drinking hot coffee (used a straw), but ice water didn't cause any problems. I've also quickly gotten used to the feeling of the bond. I think that it might be about 1 mm too long, because it feels lopsided when I bite incisor to incisor. That is just me being a perfectionist, overall the tooth is great.
