She began private dental practice in 1994, relocating to Shelby Township three years later. Dr. Barbat is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, and Shelby Township Chamber of Commerce. She is actively involved in continuing education in all aspects of dentistry and has completed advanced training in crowns, bridges, cosmetic dentistry, and sedation dentistry.
