What is a Verified Professional?

Verified Professional is a designation that indicates to consumers that you have voluntarily submitted your accreditations and certifications, and authorized a background check for review.

Upon successful review candidates will be awarded "Verified Professional" status, joining the elite ranks of the worlds top cosmetic professionals.

Benefits

The Verified Professional designation:

1) Engenders trust and can encourage more patients to use your services.

2) Qualifies you to participate with our Cosmetic Concierge Program, a personalized service that consults with clients to find verified professionals who match their criteria.

3) Verified Professionals are listed first in searches in random order, before non-verified professionals in random order.

4) The Verified Professional logo can be used on all your marketing materials including your website, brochure and business cards to further build your reputation.

How it Works

An application is submitted with copies of your qualifications, training, licensing, driver’s license and one before and after picture for each type of procedure you offer. Your application authorizes Cosmepedia International Inc. to conduct a background check and all submitted information will be carefully reviewed. Cosmepedia background check includes verifying any licensing, training, and up to date insurance. The review takes between 2 – 4 weeks, at which point you will be notified of the result. If the review is satisfactory, Verified Professional status is awarded. Upon verification by Cosmepedia, you will receive a Verified Professional logo on your Cosmepedia profile along with a welcome letter and a copy of the electronic version of the Verified Professional logo to place on your marketing materials.

Cost

There is charge for the Verified Professional application that is non refundable should the application be denied. There is a one-time fee of $299 USD, and an annual fee of $199 to update and re-certify good standing as a professional. Verified Professional costs can be added to your basic membership, or are included in the advanced membership for Cosmepedia.

The form is a simple 1 page application you submit with photocopies of your drivers license, certifications, and all applicable licenses.

Begin the application process.

Grounds for Denial of Verified Professional Designation

Applications are denied if research reveals that the professional has attempted to omit information for the purposes of deceit, provided fraudulent information, lacks necessary training and qualifications for the procedures they are performing, have been convicted of any criminal activity that could effect their ability as a doctor, or ethical integrity (such as fraud), or Cosmepedia is unsatisfied with the explanations for complaints, litigation, or disciplinary action. Grounds for denial will be stated in writing to the applicant, at which point the applicant will have a period of 60 days to submit an appeal stating their reasons for requesting the decision be overturned. If this is denied there is a 5 year waiting period before reapplication. Please Note: If a Cosmepedia member is denied Verified Professional status their membership may be revoked without refund at the discretion of Cosmepedia International Inc.
